India surpass Italy, Sixth in the World worst hit nation by COVID-19

India today crossed Italy to become the sixth worst-hit nation by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a record single-day spike of 9,887 cases, with a total 2,36,657 cases.

India’s death count is now 6642 with 294 deaths a day, highest so far.

Active COVID-19 cases stood at 1,15,942, while 1,14,072 people have recovered.

India is now the sixth worst COVID-19 affected nation after the US, Brazil, Russia, Spain and the UK, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

As India moves to ease the Lockdown to bring the economy back, Government also suggests to continue to follow social distancing, wearing of mask, washing hands, etc as the coronavirus is here to stay till we get vaccine. Worlds medical facilities and scientist are working hard each day and in a race which nation will get its 1st vaccine.

India was under lockdown since March 22 and complete lockdown from March 25. There is no help of direct deposit of cash from the government for the labor and poor of the country who are daily wage earners. Hoping that ease of lockdown will help them to get work.
