The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure the complete collection of property taxes and utilize the revenue for developmental activities and urban expansion. Mr. Sanjay Shripatrav Katkar, the Commissioner of MBMC, has called upon property owners to cooperate in this endeavor to foster city development and collaborative efforts.

As part of this campaign, delinquent property owners will receive notices and final reminders to clear their dues. Subsequently, strict action will be taken against defaulters who fail to comply with the payment regulations.

A significant portion of residents in the Mira Bhayandar area falls under the salaried class, making it difficult for them to pay property taxes during office hours. In response to this challenge, Commissioner Sanjay Shripatrav Katkar has mandated all departmental and divisional offices to remain open on Saturdays until March 31, 2024, to facilitate property tax payments.

Additionally, to make the process more convenient, property owners can choose to pay their property taxes online through the official MBMC website (https://www.mbmc.gov.in) or the My MBMC App available on mobile devices.

This initiative aims to not only streamline property tax collection but also encourage citizens to actively participate in the city’s development efforts. Commissioner Katkar has invited residents to take advantage of the current opportunity and contribute to the collaborative growth of Mira Bhayandar.

This drive by the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation underscores the importance of property tax payments in fueling urban development and emphasizes the commitment to achieving city progress in a coordinated manner.

For further information or inquiries, residents can visit the official MBMC website or contact the municipal authorities.
